Young man stabbed to death, suspect on the run

A 25-year-old young man was stabbed to death in Châteauroux (Indre) during the night from Thursday to Friday. A 24-year-old young man was also shot dead in the street this Monday evening in the Saint-Jean district. Ten days earlier, another man was killed at a private party in the same neighborhood. Châteauroux was also marked by the murder of young Mathis, 15, at the end of April. The alleged perpetrator, aged 16, who was under judicial supervision at the time of the murder, was indicted before being placed in pre-trial detention.
