BILLINGS, Mont. – The Billings Kiwanis, in collaboration with the Bike Shop, Spoke Shop, GIA Thrift Store, Pedal United, Pedal Imperium, Billings Clinic Level 1 Trauma Center, and Ranchers Mobile Storage, is hosting the 26th Annual Kiwanis Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 8th , from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Blue Creek Bike Park, 1939 Blue Creek Road.
All boys and girls in kindergarten through 3rd grade from Broadwater, Highland, McKinley, Newman, Orchard, Ponderosa, and Washington Schools are invited to bring their bikes for a tune-up or select a free bike. The Bicycle Rodeo will offer free bicycle tune-ups, bike safety instruction, refreshments, an obstacle course, and Billings Clinic Level 1 Trauma Center will fit each rider with helmets for families in need. The event concludes at 2:00 PM.
The Billings Kiwanis Club is seeking donations of youth bicycles from the Billings area that need little or no repair. These bikes will be cleaned, repaired, and given to families in need. Donations can be brought to the Bike Shop at 1934 Grand Ave, Spoke Shop at 1911 Broadwater, or GIA Thrift Store at 10 S 30th. Tax-deductible cash donations can be made at BillingsBikeRodeo.com
Pedal United and Pedal Imperium will be on hand giving an exciting display of bicycle trick riding and aerial feats.
