The Sainte-Marie English Boxing Club (CBASM) is pleased to announce the resounding success of the educational boxing day “ The Nuggets of the Noble Art »which took place this Saturday, June 1 at the Duparc gymnasium.

* As part of the Reunion Olympic and Paralympic Weekwhich takes place from June 1 to 11, 2024, the CROS, in partnership with the Department of Reunion, supports clubs in celebrating the Olympics and the arrival of the Olympic flame.

On this occasion, the CBASM offered, in the morning, entertainment and an introduction to boxing. This event allowed participants of all ages to discover boxing and learn the fundamentals of this noble sport. This moment of learning and sharing was a great success and generated a lot of enthusiasm.

* In the afternoon, educational boxing day highlighted young talents from the island’s clubs, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their skills and passion for the noble art.

> The demonstration of educational boxing assault was the highlight of the day, allowing the public to discover and appreciate the commitment of young boxers from the four corners of the island, who embody the next generation of the noble art.

These promising young pugilists impressed with their technique, discipline and sportsmanship, illustrating the bright future of boxing in our region.

Participants also demonstrated admirable sportsmanship, with encouragement and respect. This competition highlighted not only technical skills, but also the importance of personal and character development through the practice of educational boxing.

> We had the honor of celebrating the remarkable achievements of three of our emblematic figures:

David MoucouveiaFrench champion and holder of the Montana belt.

Ali Maoulanachampion of France and winner of the Coupe de France.

Anne Marie SinamaFrench Champion who continues to shine as an educational boxing coach at CBASM.

To congratulate them, a trophy specially designed and created by TAMAYA Jewelry was given to them. This gesture symbolizes our recognition and admiration for their commitment and accomplishments.

These athletes have been recognized for their incredible performances and dedication to this demanding sport, serving as role models and inspiration for the next generation. Their journey, their passion for boxing and their successes perfectly illustrate the values ​​of perseverance, discipline and respect that we strive to transmit to our young boxers.
