It’s the annual Monegasque series event. From June 14 to June 18, the 63rd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival will welcome the biggest stars of the small screen. On the program: Red carpet, conferences, interviews, meetings with the public, screenings, festive evenings and other surprises.
During the opening ceremony, presented by journalist Genie Godula, the public will have the opportunity to discover, in preview, the first episode of The Gray House, an American series which tells the story of little-known women who swung the American civil war in favor of the North. On display, Marie-Louise Parkeractress best known for her role in Weeds. Among the executive producers of this series, we find Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman. Present at the Festival, the latter will receive a Crystal Nymph for his entire career. The Nymph for Best Newcomer will be awarded to Simone Ashley, actress found in The Bridgerton Chronicles.
Several fictions will be in competition during the Festival. They will be decided by a jury composed of Piv Bernth, Teresa Fernandes-Valdes, Claire Mundell, Noor Sadar And Ulrich Thomsen. The latter will be chaired by David Boreanazactor made famous thanks to the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer And Angel.
But, this edition is also that of an anniversary, that of the 50 years of The Little House On The Prairie. For the occasion, several members of the cast will be present, from Melissa Sue Anderson has Melissa Gilbert Passing by Karen Grassle, Alison Arngrim, Matthew Labyorteaux, Leslie Landon And Lou Lee Wendi.
Among the celebrities on display, we find Steve Weber of Chicago Med, Simon Ehrlacher And Kelly Rutherford ofEscort Boys, John Boyd And Shantel Vansanten of FBI, Dag Mykland And Tyrmi Bar of Lie to Me, Rachel Griffiths And Martin Henderson of Madam, Michael Weatherly, Pablo’s rating, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen of NCIS, Samuel Le Bihan ofAlone at Sea, Jung-Jae Lee of The Acolyte but also Fiona Gubelmann And Will Yen Lee of The Good Doctor.
Like every year, actors from successful TV series will be present. Kelly Katherine Lang And Thorsten Kaye will represent Top Model while Joshua Morrow And Melissa Claire Egan will give news of Flames of love. Part of the cast ofSuch a big sun and D’With family will also be there.
Finally, other people from cinema, TV, modeling and even humor will be among the guests. Among them, the Kretz family of The Agency, Jarry, Gérard Darmon, Eric Judor, Joey Starr, Samy Naceri, Laury Thilleman or Adriana Karembeu.
The Nymph of Honor presented during the closing ceremony of the festival will be given to Olivier Marchal.
