A new activity zone will see the light of day Moult-Chichebovilleeast of Caen ().

An activity zone on 7 hectares of land in Moult-Chicheboville

This Tuesday, October 15, 2024 and Monday, November 18, the Val ès Dunes community of communes is organizing two public meetings in preparation for this activity zone project.

The intercommunality, which brings together 18 municipalities, has in fact a plot of land of more than 7 hectares in Moult-Chicheboville, or as big as ten football fields. It is accessible via the RD 80, which connects Moult to the hamlet of Béneauville.

“Tertiary businesses, local services and other activities for families”

This concerted development zone (ZAC) called “La Dolomède”, in reference to this endemic spider species protected from the marshes, could accommodate many businesses.

This land reserve is a major asset for Val ès dunes. We could find tertiary businesses, local services and other attractive activities for families there. But this cannot be done without consultation and consistency with the living area and the needs of users.

Patrice Martin, vice-president of economic development

Two public meetings proposed

Anyone interested in the project and wishing to exchange or suggest ideas can participate. “Companies already established in the region in particular will be able to share their needs. »
