A fire devastates a garage in Granby – M105 – FM 104.9

Around thirty firefighters were dispatched to Montcalm Boulevard in Granby on Sunday evening.

First responders were called around 7:20 p.m. to a garage fire on Montcalm Boulevard.

Debris from the flames also set a nearby car on fire, and the heat of the fire melted the walls of nearby apartments.

No one was injured and the flames were quickly brought under control.

Authorities still do not know how the fire started and investigators have been called to the scene.

Note that the Granby fire safety service has already made 1,150 calls since the start of the year.
