– Faverolles, RD 17 (embankment subsidence) – Puiseux-en-Retz, RD 250 (embankment subsidence) – Laversine/Cutry, RD 941 (flooding) – Armentières-sur-Ourcq/ Oulchy-le-Château, RD 80 ( flood)
– Etréaupont, RD 491 (flood) – Sorbais, RD 318 (flood) – Marly-Gomont, RD 774 (flood) – Bucilly, RD 291 (flood)
During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, cuts to the A4 motorway near the commune of Epieds, as well as to departmental road 1 in the Chauny sector (commune of Viry-Noureuil) were observed last night and have since been resolved.
Firefighters heavily mobilized
According to the Prefecture of Aisne, in the context of the Kirk depression, the latest assessment of interventions at 11 a.m. this Thursday, October 10 shows: – 202 firefighters mobilized in 35 municipalities – More than 250 interventions completed, in progress or on hold – The securing or sheltering of 180 people – The total or partial closure of 4 schools in Domptin, Epaux-Bézu, Verdilly and Coulonges-Cohan – 69 homes without electricity in Fère- en-Tardenois – Several damaged businesses and businesses.
A crisis management system has been put in place by the Aisne departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS). Forward command posts (PCA) were activated in the Château-Thierry and Laon emergency centers from 3 p.m. At 9 p.m., other PCAs were opened in the Hirson and Soissons centers. Two others were on pre-alert in Chauny and Saint-Quentin. To strengthen the system, a PCA was also activated in Coincy during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
Floods of the Oise and Serre to come
Due to the amount of precipitation accumulated on Wednesday and Thursday, the Oise upstream section has been placed on “orange flood alert” since this Thursday at 10 a.m. by Vigicrues. Overflows can be observed on the Oise in the Hirson sector and on the Greenhouse in the Montcornet sector.
The Aisne Prefecture indicates: “On the Oise, in Hirson, a first peak was reached at 2.87 m. The level is expected to be between 2.50 m and 3.06 m in the next 24 hours. In Origny-Sainte-Benoîte, the level is expected to rise and reach 2.00 m to 2.40 m in the next 24 hours. »
Concerning the Greenhouse, the State services underline: “In Montcornet, the level should rise this Thursday to reach a maximum height of between 2.20 m and 2.60 m in the morning. In Pont-à-Bucy, the level is expected to rise and reach a height of between 2.00 m and 2.50 m in the next 24 hours (i.e. by Friday morning, Editor’s note). »
