After Bouygues, it’s Orange’s turn to modify its fiber optic offers. As we announced last week, the historic operator is increasing its speeds without changing prices. All customers, new and old, are affected.

At the entry level, the Livebox Fiber goes from 500 Mbit/s symmetrical to 1 Gbit/s receiving and 700 Mbit/s sending. This subscription which includes the Livebox 5 (Wi-Fi 5) and the Ultra HD 4K decoder still costs €24.99/month for 6 months then €42.99/month.
In the mid-range, the increase in flow rates is less significant. In downloading, the Livebox Up Fiber remains at 2 Gbit/s maximum. The only evolution is in theuploadwhich goes from 600 to 800 Mbit/s. The equipment and price are unchanged: Livebox 6 (Wi-Fi 6E), Wi-Fi 6 repeater and Ultra HD 4K decoder at €29.99/month for 6 months then €51.99/month.
At the top of the basket, the Livebox Max Fiber finally joins the Freebox Ultra in terms of speeds. Previously “limited” to 5 Gbit/s in reception and 1 Gbit/s in sending, Orange’s most expensive offer now includes up to 8 Gbit/s symmetrical. Not all subscribers will be entitled to such speeds, you must be eligible — the deployment is underway.
The Livebox Max Fiber still includes a Livebox 7 (Wi-Fi 6E), up to three Wi-Fi 6 repeaters and the TV6 decoder. The subscription still costs €34.99/month for 6 months then €57.99/month. Little new pricing: a discount of €5/month per streaming platform (Netflix, Disney+ and Max).
Concerning the “Special Series”, the one at €39.99/month with Livebox 5 sees its download go from 400 Mbit/s to 1 Gbit/s.
All Orange subscriptions include a 12-month commitment. With this acceleration in speeds, the historic operator is partly catching up with the competition, but remains overall the most expensive of the lot.

At Sosh too there is something new. Fiber speeds, which have been capped at 300 Mbit/s symmetrical for a long time, are finally increasing to 400 Mbit/s. It is therefore a little faster, but it remains lower than almost all other fiber offers on the market. The rest doesn’t change: no commitment, Livebox 5 included and optional TV decoder at €5/month.
The Sosh box costs €25.99/month with no time limit. If you are already a subscriber and paying more, take a look at your customer area. In recent days, some subscribers have seen a discount of €5/month appear on their bill. We do not know if this reduction is widespread.
