Niki de Saint Phalle notably stood out thanks to its monumental and colorful sculptures, its Pineapple, the Golem or the Black Heroes. She collaborated with different artists, including Jean Tinguely, her second husband, with whom she notably created the decorations of the fontaine Stravinsky.
The artist died in 2002, after a rich career, and numerous expositions in major museums and cultural institutions in the United States, France, England, Italy, Spain… Even today, Niki de Saint Phalle is regularly shown in exhibitions, and is the subject of retrospectives.
