Ligue 2. 12th day: GF38 postponed to Saturday at 8 p.m., Annecy remains on Friday

The days follow one another and are not alike for Grenoble Foot 38. The Professional Football League, which has indicated that it will now schedule Ligue 2 championship matches at least six weeks in advance, has just unveiled the calendar for the 12^e Ligue 2 matchday, which will take place from Friday 1^er November to Monday 4th.

The Isère club will play against Guingamp on a Saturday (8 p.m.), for the second consecutive time, seven days after Paris FC – GF38, scheduled for October 26 at 2 p.m. for the 10^e championship day. In the meantime, Oswald Tanchot’s men will host Annecy at the Stade des Alpes on Tuesday, October 29 for the 11^e daytime.

Since the start of the season, supporters have been angry about the decision of the broadcaster BeIn Sports, the League and the presidents of Ligue 2 clubs to postpone the championship matches from Saturday to Friday, without notice. Several matches have been interrupted (lasers pointed at the cameras, tennis balls thrown on the pitch, etc.) and several ultras have damaged the control room vans at the start of the season. For these actions, the Grenoble club has also been sanctioned with the closure of the west stand of the Stade des Alpes as a precautionary measure.
