Stade français eliminated from the Champions Cup

With just one success for three defeats, Stade Français says goodbye to the Champions Cup, the former European Champions Cup, now open to… South African clubs.

It was also against the Pretoria Bulls, Saturday January 18, that the Parisians lost, 48 to 7, a defeat synonymous with last place in group 3. They will not have a catch-up session in the Challenge Cup since it is these same Bulls, due to a better goal average, who will compete in the round of 16 of the lower level “European” competition.

Captain Sekou Macalou scored the only Parisian try in force, the Bulls scoring seven in total, compared to five in their first three group matches.
