Zoe Saldaña was among the first to arrive at the 2025 Golden Globes, and the Emilia Perez actress brought a lot of sparkle with her look. Saldaña wore a Saint Laurent sequin gown with a deep-cut sweetheart neckline, and accessorized with Cartier jewelry and a Saint Laurent bag and shoes.

Saldaña is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for Emilia Perez. This is her first nomination.
When she learned she was nominated and that the film made history for receiving the most nominations for any musical or comedy, Saldaña told Variety“It’s almost surreal. It’s what you always hope for movies to do, to help you connect on a human level. I think that is what makes this movie so special. I haven’t been able to think from the moment I auditioned for [director] Jacques Audiard until today, but it’s about feeling and going with your feelings.”
In her ELLE Women in Hollywood interview, Saldaña spoke warmly about what she learned from her co-stars Selena Gomez and Karla Sofía Gascón, who are both nominated for Golden Globes tonight as well. (Gomez is also nominated in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture category, while Gascón received her nod in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category.)
“From Karla, I’ve learned that passion shouldn’t be judged as something that’s right or wrong,” Saldaña said. “Passion can be crazy beautiful. If it comes with an intention that is genuine and pure, then it’s only a good thing. Karla is a force of nature.”
For Gomez, Saldaña added, “I would look at Selena and just hear her talk and watch her command a room with so much humility. There’s an ageless essence to her that makes me always feel like I’ll accept any advice or guidance that comes from this young woman who’s such a boss lady.”
