Ligue 1 – 16th day – Lens beaten by Toulouse at Bollaert, Angers breathes against Brest, Strasbourg continues

: 0-1

Stoppage for Lens. After three matches without defeat, Will Still's team missed the opportunity to get closer to Europe by losing to Toulouse at Bolllaert (0-1). Northerners can curse VAR. A first time on the expulsion of David Pereira da Costa, who had initially received a yellow card before finally receiving a red (61st). Then on the penalty for Toulouse's victory, also awarded after intervention by the VAR, obtained and transformed by Zakaria Aboukhlal after a foul by Malang Sarr (71st). Toulouse climbs to 8th place and returns to equal points with Lens, 7th.

What we remember : A pretty awful second period, where tension largely took over the game.

: 3-1

Strasbourg confirms its renewed form with a second consecutive victory. The Alsatians were however led by Auxerre at Meinau after the 7th goal this season from Hamed Junior Traoré (14th). But Liam Rosenior's team was able to reverse the situation, with a penalty obtained and transformed by Habib Diarra after a foul by Jubal (45th + 4), then a goal to Félix Lemarechal (59th) after a one-two with Emmanuel Emegha, himself author of the third goal (87th). Strasbourg moves up to 11th place in the ranking and is within one point of AJA, now 9th.

What we remember : a fourth match without a victory for Auxerre, which equals its worst series of the season.

: 2-0

Angers holds its second home victory of the season. The SCO won in front of Brest, although generally dominant at the Raymond Kopa Stadium but terribly ineffective in front of the opposing goal. Quite the opposite for the Angevins, who opened the scoring on their first opportunity of the match thanks to Esteban Lepaul, magnificently served by Carlens Arcus (6th). The only shot on target from Alexandre Dujeux's men until that of Ibrahima Niane, who sheltered his team in added time (90th + 8). Brest is 12th, three points ahead of its tormentor of the day.

What we remember : the 6th defeat in 7 away matches for Eric Roy's team. We know where the problem lies.
