Pauline Darcel filed a complaint for “sexual abuse” on a minor in early 2023 and Agathe Pujol in October 2023, after having been encouraged by other complaints filed earlier by other victims. The two actresses would have met Philippe Caubère while they were still in high school. In 2010, Agathe Pujol sent a letter to the man of the theater to show him her« admiration » and tells her of her wish to be an actress. They meet a few days later, when the actor is 60 years old. Agathe Pujol accuses him of having raped him repeatedly from the age of 17 to 29, between 2010 and 2022 and of having “raped” by unknown men recruited on the Internet or by “trusted friends” between 2012 and 2018. It was in August 2022 that she broke up with Philippe Caubère before being urgently hospitalized for « depressive exhaustion » et « suicidal thoughts » according to the medical report.
“Caubère’s defense will be to say that if I stayed for twelve years, I was necessarily consenting”explains Agathe Pujol today to Liberation. “I was a kid when I met him, I had no free will”she recalls, saying she was a teenager “influenceable and lost”. « He made me his thing »even though she allegedly tried to flee several times. “Everyone knew”assure Agathe Pujol and Pauline Darcel. Several colleagues of the actor report to Liberation having known Agathe Pujol as well as the nature of their relationship.
