Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter was the most listened to song worldwide this year on the streaming platform Spotify. With more than 1.6 billion streams. And the singer did not see that coming.
The 25-year-old American says that she believed in the song, but didn’t know whether it would resonate with the audience. “I had no idea if people would like it. But I thought it was good and that was all that mattered to me at that moment,” says Carpenter.

The singer has another tour planned for next year, with which she will also come to our country. On March 22 she will be with the Short ’n sweet tour in front of a sold-out ING Arena in Brussels.
She did not want to say much about future plans in the conversation with The Hollywood Reporter. “But I’m really looking forward to the new year because I have to give myself space to grow and have fun. And that’s what I’m going to try to do.”
