Germany’s “advertising master” appeals in a video for those who park illegally to be punished. He wears a Hitler mustache – followers are stunned.
As the self-proclaimed “advertising master”, Niclas Matthei pursues his favorite hobby – hunting down illegally parked drivers. Once again, the 18-year-old gets on his bike wearing a helmet and fluorescent vest and advises his followers to take up the same leisure activity.
His choice of words in the Instagram clip makes you sit up and take notice: “I am your master, your master orders you: report illegal parking, report illegal parking. Illegal parking is the evil on German roads.”
But during his roll call, a striking detail on his face immediately catches the eye – Matthei is unmistakably wearing a mustache like the one Hitler once wore. Shortly afterwards, a heated discussion broke out in the comments section.
Numerous users agree – a limit has clearly been exceeded here.
“Oh, middle name Adolf, or what?” someone wants to know. “Why the Hitler beard?” asks another, horrified.
Others even threaten the 18-year-old with the judiciary: “I’ll report it to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution.” Another follower also finds clear words: “You still have time to delete the video,” he says.
“I think there will be an ad coming in soon,” suspects another user.
It remains unclear why Matthei published these questionable scenes on the Internet. But the German always causes a stir.
The young man gained national fame at the beginning of the year when he was accompanied by “Spiegel TV” on one of his “operations”. After just two days, the post on YouTube reached a whopping 1.65 million clicks.
Despite inquiries from the “Spiegel” journalist, his motivation for the time-consuming hobby is not entirely clear. He said something like: “To enforce the traffic regulations because people think they can park however they want. But then people like me come along.”
