FC Nantes found itself at the crossroads of its ambitions this Sunday, October 20, on the occasion of the 8th day of Ligue 1. After four unsuccessful matches (two draws in Angers and against Saint-Etienne and two losses against Reims and in Lyon), the Yellow and Green wanted to rediscover the taste of victory after a two-week international break.
Unfortunately, the good intentions came up against solid Niçois who largely led the debates and pushed Alban Lafont to pull out all the stops, with five high-class saves.
