An infuriating, logical or unexpected draw against Nice for the Canaries? The answers from coach Antoine Kombouaré and scorer Matthis Abline.
FC Nantes conceded a draw (1-1) against OGC Nice last night at La Beaujoire in front of 28,000 spectators. The Canaries largely dominated in the first half, but were able to find the opening in the 2nd half thanks to Matthis Abline. Before Guessand, a veteran of the yellow house, equalized for the Aiglons. The feeling of Nantes coach Antoine Kombouaré:
In the first half, we scared each other very much!

But here we are, we didn’t concede a goal, we didn’t concede, so we show strength of character. We came back in the second half with other intentions and lo and behold, it went well! On my goal, the ball comes to my head, so I uncross it and it ends up at the bottom. We weren’t able to keep the score, but it’s still a good point tonight!”
In the standings, the Canaries are 9th with 10 points, before going to Strasbourg on Sunday.
