LIVE – Formula 1: Leclerc solid leader of the United States GP ahead of Sainz and Verstappen

Following the sprint, Lando Norris took pole ahead of Max Verstappen. The Briton was helped by George Russell, who ended up in the wall in Q3 and caused a red flag, since the Dutchman was setting a lap much better than that of the McLaren driver.

The two men find themselves on the front row for the sixth time this season while Norris takes his 7th career pole. Behind the two rivals for the world title, the Ferraris of Sainz and Leclerc follow as Piastri is 5th while Perez is 9th on the grid.
