Andy Murray is switching surfaces. On Wednesday, he took part in the BMW Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth in England, an event that brings together professional and amateur golfers. A massive crowd gathered to watch his first shots, as he teamed up with professional golfer Robert MacIntyre.

After a glittering tennis career, the 37-year-old Scot retired this summer during the Olympics. Murray, a golf enthusiast, announced his career change by writing in the bio of his X account (formerly Twitter): “I used to play tennis. Now I play golf.”
