There is still a way to escape the flu

After a first outbreak of fever in mid-December, the peak of seasonal flu is expected in February. Last year, no less than 10,000 infections were recorded during the winter.

But the virusinfluenza still circulating. But as reunions between students, employees and friends loom, a few “good gestures” can help avoid getting sick as much as possible.

The advice to adopt is reminiscent of the famous “barrier gestures” recommended during the Covid epidemic. But while SaRS-Cov2 does less damage, these same reflexes still remain relevant:

  • ????Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 30 seconds. Rub the palms, fingers, backs of the hands and under the nails well.
  • ????️Se cover mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. If you don’t have a tissue, use the crook of your elbow.
  • ???? Throw away your used tissues in the trash (and then wash your hands).
  • ????????‍❤️‍????‍???????? Avoid physical contact. This ranges from hugs to kisses to handshakes.
  • ????️ Stay at home if you are sick (to avoid contaminating those around you).
  • ????️ Ventilate the parts. A gesture to repeat 3 to 4 times a day for 10 minutes.
