In just 12 months, Eska has achieved a series of “exploits”: return via a successful Kickstarter, launch of a model in the current collection and production of a limited series.
Sinicha, co-creator of this fanfare return to the watchmaking scene, looks back for us on the year 2024.
However, those in a hurry among you can go here: Eska official website.

The history of the Eska brand began in 1918 in Selzach, Switzerland.
The factory, whose name comes from the pronunciation of the initials of its founder Silvan Kocher (SK), then established itself in Granges in 1937 to develop its production.
During its existence, Eska built a particularly solid reputation in the United States and Brazil.
Its catalog demonstrates varied know-how: chronographs, three-hand watches, models with complications, and even more artistic creations decorated with cloisonné enamel dials.
The Amphibian 600, launched in the 1960s, marks the brand’s entry into the world of diving watches.
After a break in activity at the end of the 1980s, Eska enjoyed a second life thanks to two watch enthusiasts: Sinicha Knezevic and Christophe Chevreton.
To revive this confidential brand, they choose to revisit the Amphibian 600 through a new model called Amphibian 250.
The project, launched on the Kickstarter platform, met with significant success, far exceeding its initial objective of 270,000 euros to reach 407,400 euros.
The success of the launch on Kickstarter and the satisfaction of the first buyers did not prevent the new owners of the brand from remaining attentive to the watchmaking community.

Their continuous improvement approach materialized with the launch of the Amphibian 250 White Shark, an optimized version incorporating feedback from enthusiasts.
The novelty offered by this White Shark lies in the white color of its dial with so-called sandwich construction – a dial cut out at the level of the stick indexes then placed on a base previously coated with luminescent material.
The typographies used on the Amphibian 600, notably the presence of these 4 oversized and stylized Arabic numeral indexes, are respected in 2024 – the markings are also identical, with only the 250 replacing the 600 of the original.
No change on the handing side either compared to the 1960s model, only the original fully luminescent central second hand being replaced by a lollipop hand equipped with a luminescent patch.
This change in dial color, going from black to white, proved to be a real success, giving this unique diving watch a new dimension: more original and a bit more elegant and more urban.
The Amphibian “250″ Red Viper, the brand’s latest model, is also Eska Watches’ first limited version model.
It is in fact published in an exclusive version published in 136 copies.
This model is finally available with 3 bracelets including the new Eska ladder band.
We are now impatiently awaiting the rest of Eska’s adventures!
