Jan Cadieux is no longer the coach of the Genève-Servette Hockey Club. “The results obtained over the past year and a half do not meet the expectations of the Organization, and the objective is not to further compromise this season,” the club said in a press release.

Even if Antti Raanta and Oula Palve were called as reinforcements to Vernets, “the situation has not evolved in the right direction”.

The Geneva club would like to emphasize that Jan Cadieux is not the only one responsible for sporting results and that a strong reaction is expected from the group for the remainder of the regular season.

While waiting to find a new head coach, Yorick Treille and Rikard Franzén are taking the reins of the team on an interim basis. The club specifies: “both know the group perfectly since they were both assistant coaches”.
