Infernal Hordes is one of the high level activities of Diablo IV. This puts you face to face with several successive waves of monsters which you must face until the appearance of the Doom Council and obtaining numerous rewards. Find all the information about it below.
1. Introduction
Appointment to Hawezar in World Level III and complete the questline The eyes of the enemy available in Zarbinzet. Follow Locran to the Underworld and protect him until he fulfills his destiny. You will then have the opportunity to go in infernal hordes and face the monstrosities that await you there.
2. Operation
Face the legions of Hell in the Kingdom of Hate. You will get Burning Aether which unlocks powerful weapons and rewards. Once the waves are defeated, you will then face the evil council.
In order to get to the Kingdom of Hate, you will need of an infernal compass. These can be found on Bosses, in Infernal Waves, in Nightmare dungeons and during Whispers. You will get one when completing the quest line The eyes of the enemy.
Every wave lasts 90 seconds. These give you Burning Aether which can be spent at the end of a victorious trip. At the end of 90 seconds, kill the remaining enemies and choose one of the Infernal Offers. Once this is done, the next wave begins. When you have conquered all the waves, go au Well of Hatred and face the evil council. Spend your Burning Aether on acquisition of the Spoils of Hell.
Every time you complete a wave, you will have the opportunity to take une Infernal Offer among three available. These include a blessing and a curse which apply to your trip and are cumulative with each other. For example, you can increase the difficulty for more burning Aether.
You obtain burning Ether by killing Aether Fiends and Ethereal Lords or destroying Spirit Arrows and Ethereal Maces. These are obtained individuallywhether you are solo or in a group, leaving you choosing your rewards at the end of the trip.
Once your trip is over, you spend Burning Aether to les Spoils of Hell. It exists quatre types de Spoils of Helloffering equipment, materials, gold or superior equipment, guaranteeing an item with a superior affix.
It exists 8 levels of Infernal Compasses, which scale in difficulty and World Level. Each increases the number of waves, ranging from 5 for Tiers I-III to 10 for Tier VIII. These also increase the starting difficulty of monsters, the quality of rewards and reduce the number of resurrections available.
Abyssal Scrolls can be obtained to improve Infernal Compassesthe latter not falling only at levels I-III.
Infernal Compasses can be used at the following levels and World Levels :
- Palier I
- Available at World Level III
- Level II
- Available at World Tier IV
- Bonus affixes that increase the crafting materials and drop rates of Legendaries and Uniques.
- Stage III
- Available at Level 100
- Affixes bonus
- Spoil of Greater Equipment
If you survive all the waves, the Doom Council waiting for you. It exists 5 members of the Council in total, each with their own abilities. Every time you face the Council, you will face 3 different membersselected randomly. Once enough damage is inflicted on the Council, its members will become more powerful. When they are defeated, spend your Burning Aether to les Spoils of Hell.
