Increased adoption of AMD’s recent Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 models continues. Initially, the APU was adopted by major laptop manufacturers such as Asus with the Zenbook S 16 and ProArt P16. Subsequently, gaming console specialists turned to the same APU, presumably due to its faster Radeon 890M speed.

Additionally, GMKtec has just confirmed the date it intends to begin selling its first attempt at a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. Specifically, the company will begin offering the EVO-X1 on November 27 at 02:00 UTC. However, this is only true in China, where it will start at CNY 5,299 (~$732), instead of CNY 5,599 (~$773).

Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when GMKtec will offer its new mini-PC internationally. That being said, the EVO-X1 should be about as powerful as the Beelink SER9 which is already available worldwide (currently $999 on Amazon). As shown in the image below, the EVO-X1 will support OCuLink and USB4 connectivity, which should make it more versatile than most competing mini-PCs, despite its tiny dimensions of 110 x 107 x 63mm.
