Nobody Wants to Die, the dystopian cyberpunk game set in New York, is a video sensation | Xbox

In development for more than six years now, Nobody Wants to Die is now ready for release and it will be sooner than we could have imagined since the title arrives on July 17 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5. The new trailer revealed for the occasion makes you want to put your hands on it.

Welcome to New York in 2329

Announced during the summer of 2023, Nobody Wants to Die had already intrigued a number of players. The game is described as an interactive thriller in which you play detective James Karra who is looking for a dangerous killer who attacks the city’s wealthiest citizens. Supported by the young liaison officer Sara Kai, he will have the difficult task of discovering the mysteries of the city where consciences are stored in memory banks.

The plot of Nobody Wants to Die takes place in New York in the year 2329, in a total dystopia where humans can live forever with consciousnesses transferred from one body to another, as long as one pays the subscription necessary to be entitled to it.

It is in this thriller noir atmosphere that the plot of Nobody Wants to Die takes place where detective James Karra is entrusted with a confidential case. Like their Polish counterparts at CD Projekt, the developers at Critical Hit Games are also diving into cyberpunk, and intend to impress their audience with an in-depth narrative punctuated by choices that will influence the story.

Nobody Wants to Die is scheduled for release on July 17 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5.
