The countdown begins !
Yesterday, Cupertino has rolled out an update to its official Apple Developer app for developers, just to follow all the events remotely which will be broadcast continuously (or only those which interest them). In the download notes we find a fairly classic menu with new stickers to drag into iMessage !
– Explore everything WWDC24 has to offer, including video sessions, consultations and more
– When a video ends, you will see a related video to play next
– We fixed bugs and added various other improvements
The firm also takes the opportunity to send little emails to developers registered with this year’s theme : Action packed.

In addition to updating the Developer app, Apple has set up the link on its YouTube account reserved for the WWDC 2024 stream, which will broadcast the keynote next Monday. For those who prefer, it will always be possible to go through the Apple website and – of course – follow us on mac4ever!
What to expect from WWDC 2024?
Traditionally, Apple obviously reveals the new features of its upcoming systems : iOS 18, macOS 15, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18 and watchOS 11 but also visionOS 2! For this year, the very well informed Mark Gurman does not expect Apple to announce a new product – as it has done in previous years – but rather that it will focus on software, and of course ‘AI!
Of course, the firm is eagerly awaited regarding Artificial Intelligence! Recently we learned thatApple is currently in discussions with Google to offer Gemini AI on the iPhone with iOS 18, unless another AI (Open Ai? Mistral AI? A Chinese AI?) comes to take over the market. This announcement could be made during WWDC, and be the famous revelation promised by Tim Cook during the latest results.
