Jung von Matt Switzerland relies on an international creative force

Young from Matt brings high-level international creative to Switzerland Christian Kies as Chief Creative Officer. He takes over the creative management of the Jung von Matt Group in Switzerland. “Bringing out even more Swiss potential” is how Roman Hirsbrunner, CEO of Jung von Matt in Switzerland, describes the mission of the new CCO. “With Christian, we are looking for a top international creative and aim with him for the creative pole position, not only in Switzerland, but also internationally at Jung von Matt.”

Christian Kies was most recently Executive Creative Director for the global budget of Mercedes-Benz at the Antoni agency in Berlin. Kies has received numerous international awards for his work. Several Cannes lions, pencils and all other important awards adorn his prize list, which was recently enriched with several nails at the ADC Awards 2024 in Germany. Previously, he worked for eight years for Jung von Matt in Berlin, where he was instrumental in shaping the budgets of Netflix, DHL, Mercedes-Benz and Nikon. Kies has mastered the full advertising keyboard, from emotional storytelling to contemporary social media cases to installations and physical experiences, nationally and internationally. In addition to his keen sense of progressive ideas and his incessant search for relevant insights, Christian Kies is considered an absolute expert in crafts and a close and empowering leader.

“The creative potential that lies dormant in Switzerland, the thirst for progressive ideas of Swiss clients and the openness to new influences are for me the ideal breeding ground for exceptional work. I look forward to setting international standards and making a name for myself from Switzerland,” says Kies.
Christian Kies will start on September 1, 2024 after moving from Berlin to Switzerland.
