New Legend
Season 21 introduces Alter, a new Legend capable of traveling through the dimensions of the Void, bent on destruction. Its abilities include:

- Gift of the Rift (Passive) : allowing you to interact with nearby frag crates and collect unique items across the Void.
- Void Passage (Tactical) : creating a dimensional portal allowing movement from one point to another, with a brief phase period for Legends who use it.
- Void Nexus (Ultimate) : Deploying a Nexus that allies can activate remotely to open a phase tunnel to its location, making it easier to regroup the group.
Apex Artifact
The Katar artifact is also evolving for Season 21, offering theme, base, power Source, and activation emote choices, available in specific frag crates.
Broken Moon map update
The Shattered Moon undergoes visual and structural changes with Season 21, due to the presence of the Hope colony floating in space. Points of interest and rotations have been adjusted accordingly, for more details, see the dedicated article on the official Apex Legends website (Source).
