During the past season, supporters of the Morocco had delighted in following the performances of the trio Soufiane Rahimi-Ayoub El Kaâbi-Youssef En-Nesyrithree leading attackers who have scored goals in Europe and Asia. Since last September, a new spearhead has been competing for the spotlight on the old continent: Hamza Igmane.

The former AS FAR striker has been a real steamroller since his arrival at the Rangers Club. Wednesday evening, the young player scored his club’s first goal against Abderdeen (3-0), in the 13th minute. Igamane once again demonstrated his ability to choose the ideal placement, not to mention his 30-meter shots and his confusing dribbles. In total, Hamza has scored 13 goals this season and two assists: 9 goals in the league and 4 goals in the Europa League. The Moroccan has become an indisputable starter, at the age of 22 and despite his lack of experience. The player could therefore well appear on Walid Regragui’s next list, in anticipation of the next two days of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
