This Thursday around 6 p.m., emergency services were called for an intervention on the Méteil trail, in Gilly. A few minutes earlier, a lady who was walking her dog smelled a strong odor of gas at the scene. She was the one who raised the alarm.
When they arrived on the scene, firefighters noticed a large gas leak of 60 bars, according to our information. They set up a security perimeter of 200 meters. A nearby football field, on which a smell of gas was clearly perceptible, and on which young people were training, was evacuated.
