A giant of the Seventh has gone. This Thursday, January 16, David Lynch died at the age of 78. The director has marked the history of cinema thanks to his numerous films including Twin Peaks et Mulholland Drive.

His works will remain immortal. This Thursday, January 16, American director David Lynch took his last breath at the age of 78. Sad news announced by his loved ones in a moving publication posted on Facebook, and spotted by Variety. “It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and artist, David Lynch”it is written on its official page. And to add, with deep emotion: “We would appreciate some privacy right now. There is a big void in the world now that he is no longer with us.” Last August, the filmmaker revealed that he was suffering from a lung disease.

Giant of the Seventh Art, David Lynch had acquired international fame thanks to his films Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive or even Elephant Man.
