The 11th stage of the Dakar 2025 experienced some upheavals due to weather conditions in Saudi Arabia. In order not to finish in the dark due to fog, the motorbike stage was shortened (152 kilometers instead of 275). This morning, departure was delayed by two hours while waiting for the helicopters to take off.

Tosha Schareina (Honda) won in 2h12’04, only 33 seconds ahead of Luciano Benavides (KTM) and 57 over Van Beveren. Daniel Sanders (KTM) remains leader with a 9 minute lead, despite a 6th place on the day and 7’31 lost to the first. Frenchman Adrien Van Beveren (Honda) is still 3rd overall, 15’50” behind the leader, on the eve of the end of this 2025 Dakar.

In cars, the Swede Ekström (Ford) finished winner of stage 11 between Shubaytah and Shubaytah. He retains his 3rd place, ahead of Al-Attiyah, in the general classification. Yazeed al-Rajhi (Toyota) takes the lead in the general classification, ahead of Henk Lategan (Toyota), by 6’11”. The Saudi was 2’27 behind at the start of the race but he was able to manage dunes up to 150 meters high. He is now favorite to win the 2025 Dakar on Friday.
