THE SPORT SCAN – Due to difficult weather conditions in Morbihan, the plane transporting the ASM had to be diverted to Caen. Christophe Urios’ men completed the journey to Vannes by bus.
Great adventure for the ASM players during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Having left Clermont-Ferrand by plane during the day on Saturday to go to Vannes, where they will play their meeting of the 14th day of the Top 14 at La Rabine this Sunday, Christophe Urios’ men saw their plane diverted to… Caen.
Their pilot was not authorized to land in Vannes because of the windy and rainy weather conditions which have been sweeping Morbihan for several days. It is for this reason that the 6th of the Top 14 landed in Caen almost 300 kilometers from their destination. “He circled for half an hour in the sky, above the Vannes airport, without having permission to land,” specifies the local newspaper the Mountain.
The ASM directly announced the news on its social networks with a publication tinged with humor: “Oopsss Not good at Geo or weather problem…”. The Yellow and Blue finally finished their bus journey to Vannes.
