Young Habs goalie Jakub Dobes, recently recalled from the Laval Rocket, was one of the heroes of the day by recording a shutout in his first NHL start.
The Canadian was also able to benefit from a great effort from center Kirby Dach, author of a double and a match reminiscent of his best moments in the NHL.
