After securing his first pole position of the season at the Dutch Grand Prix, Francesco Bagnaia made the perfect start to the main race on Sunday 30 June. Álex Rins suffered a big crash in the first corner. Relive the start.

World champion Francesco Bagnaia, who started from pole position for the first time this season at the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday 30 June, made the ideal start. The Ducati rider took the lead ahead of Maverick Vinales, who started second.

Behind, championship leader Jorge Martin made a flying start to gain two places. Demoted to fifth, he turned to 3e place, before taking the 2e. Nice breakthrough also from Marc Marquez, moved up from 6e at 3e place after a few turns.

Conversely, his brother Alex, fell from 3e at 5e place. The start was marked by Álex Rins’ big fall at the first corner. The Spaniard went over his handlebars and fell violently.

On the French side, Fabio Quartararo has not moved and remains at 13e rank, like Johann Zarco 17e.
