In the early morning of the Spa 24 Hours, Team WRT took control of the race with the #32 BMW M4 GT3, while the night saw the race resume following a lengthy neutralisation due to weather conditions.

Placed under safety car regime until the tenth hour, the event was able to resume with Dan Harper of the BMW n°998 – ROWE Racing at the forefront against the Porsche n°23 – Phantom Global Racing of Joel Eriksson.

Team WRT, despite tricky tire choices before the long neutralization at the start of the evening, regained the advantage in the following phase of the race, even if it was the No. 99 Audi R8 LMS GT3 – Tresor Attempto Racing of Christopher Haase who passed the halfway mark in the lead, with the corresponding intermediate points.

The race was once again neutralised a few minutes ago in the 14th hour, after the Aston Martin Vantage N°36 – Walkenhorst Motorsport went off the track, making a mistake on the Raidillon, on a track that was still largely wet and with rain still present, despite a lull that saw some teams try the gamble of slicks before changing their minds.

Team WRT, which made its obligatory technical stop, is in the lead under a safety car with Sheldon van der Linde ahead of Franck Perera (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 n°163 – GRT), Chris Froggatt, still in the lead in the Bronze Cup with the Ferrari 296 GT3 n°93 – Sky Tempesta Racing, and despite the incident with the Ferrari n°71 – AF Corse-Francorchamps and the Mercedes n°48 – Mercedes-AMG Team Mann Filter.

Next up are Maxime Robin, leader in the Silver Cup with the Aston Martin n°35 – Walkenhorst Motorsport, and the Porsche n°911 – Pure Rxcing of Klaus Bachler. AlManar Racing by Getspeed dominates in the Gold Cup with the Mercedes n°777 of Philip Ellis, 6th overall at this moment. Crowdstrike Racing by Riley and the Mercedes n°4 of Ian James are leading in Pro-Am.
