OL have opened quite a few files to strengthen themselves this summer in the transfer window. The midfield is considered an important project by the Rhone staff.

In Lyon, we do not want to repeat the mistakes of the past. The objective will be to hit the ground running next season. Pierre Sage must be able to count on a good quality squad, capable of playing in all competitions. OL are therefore multiplying avenues to strengthen themselves during this summer transfer market. In midfield, Les Gones are not closed to any options. And a profile is very popular in Türkiye. And not just anywhere since it is Fenerbahce.

Something international heading for OL?

According to information from Turkish media Sabah, OL have in fact made an offer of 10 million euros to secure the services of defensive midfielder Ismail Yuksek. Initially, the 25-year-old Turk nevertheless wants to wait until the end of Euro 2024 with his country before making a definitive decision about his future. Especially since José Mourinho has just arrived at the Istanbul club. At the end of his contract in June 2027, Yuksek wants guarantees on his playing time. Something that OL can offer him. Note that in this case, Les Gones have already made an offer to Fener, which was refused. In addition to the Turkish international, Olympique Lyonnais does not lose hope of recruiting three other stars this summer: Thiago Almada, Moïse Bombito and Yankuba Minteh. As a reminder, the Rhone club will pass this Thursday before the DNCG with the ambition of emerging unscathed and free to move to recruit. Let OL fans be reassured about the ambitions of their team, heavy action is expected this summer, even if movement is also expected in terms of departures.
