20-year-old Kitchener Rangers goaltender Jackson Parsons has announced he will continue his development at Clarkson starting next season.

Remember that the NCAA voted in favor of a rule that will allow CHL players to make the jump to the NCAA from 1is August 2025.

In interview with The Journal this week, Houle confirmed that his team was already hard at work recruiting players from Quebec or Ontario, even before the regulations were confirmed.

“We started watching a little just to prepare,” he confided. We wanted to be ready and recruit the players we wanted, whether in Quebec or Ontario. We look at 20-year-old players. We want players who can help us from the start.”

This announcement is likely the first of several to come.
