The Bastiais had only one idea in mind: to break the series of six matches without a victory on the Laval side.
With great determination, it was the Turchini who heckled the Laval residents. After a first big alert from Cissé, launched full axis into the area, on which Samassa won their face to face, the opening of the score came immediately after a free kick from Maggiotti which found Akueson in the area, but it was Kokolo who deceived his own goalkeeper (0-1, 14′).
A great starta big domination and a strong moment during which Benoit Tavenot's men could – should have – doubled the lead, as on this occasion when Cissé, shifted to the right, forgot Tramoni at the far post by choosing the shot (26') .
The Laval residents reacted immediately and equalized a handful of minutes later, when Roye launched into the area on the left, crossed to Camara strangely alone at six meterswho did not miss the offering to deceive Placide (1-1, 29').
The Bastiais, always inclined towards the offensive, would once again demonstrate a disconcerting lack of efficiency when Cissé, taking advantage of a mix-up in the opposing defense, recovered the leather to present himself in the area. Went out to meet him, the doorman won his duel and saved his team from being led a second time (33').
Upon returning from the locker room, the instructions were clear: continue to attack. Benoit Tavenot had warnedand his players apparently listened to him. They tried, they projected themselves without asking any questions. But once again, all that was missing was the goal.
And apart from this misunderstanding between Placide and Meynadier which, without the perfect intervention of Akuseon in the feet of Tchokounté (56'), Sporting remained dominant and got another chance, with Tramoni on the right crossing his shot in the area, but Samassa relaxed to deflect for a corner.
The Bastiais fished in the finish, the Laval residents went to the bottom. On a cross from the right into the area, Malik Tchokounté poked his head to give the Tangos the advantage (2-1, 65'). Cruel, but the usual scenario which has plagued these last few weeks is repeating itself once again for Sporting.
But it was without counting on this strength of character to not give up until a final corner kicked by Maggiotti, extended to the far post, Felix Tomi appeared for the angry equalizer (2-2, 90'+4). The reward for the attacker, and that of an entire group who had the merit of not giving up.
