TangerRun 2024: More than 5,000 participants expected

The 2nd edition of TangerRun, which will be held on November 16 and 17, 2024, follows the resounding successes of the previous editions of CasablancaRun, MarrakechRun, and RabatRun.

TangerRun, which is an event organized by the TheCityRun association, aims to promote health and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through the practice of sport, while celebrating the beauty of Tangier and its dynamic sports community. The event will feature a wide variety of activities such as runs, walks, fitness sessions, etc., organized by the city’s sports community. Groups of runners, sports associations, coaches, as well as former international champions will mobilize throughout the weekend to encourage as many people as possible to practice sport.

All activities will take place on the Corniche of Tangier (Place Oujda ex Manipolio) for two days. Whether you participate in a group, with family, with colleagues or alone.

At the same time, TangerRun will highlight the beauty of the Corniche of Tangier, an emblematic setting ideal for outdoor sport. This event is a perfect opportunity to (re)discover this magnificent space while participating in an enriching sporting initiative, the organization says, noting that the event will also celebrate the local sporting community with the participation of associations, sports coaches, groups of runners/walkers, and champions: ”This event would not have been possible without the support of local authorities, in particular the Wilaya of Tangier, of our committed partners such as Royal Air Maroc, MDM Mood Display Morocco, Kaline Dermo-Cosmetics, and Aquafina as well as our media partners who share our vision of a healthy and active lifestyle. TheCityRun aims to welcome more than 5,000 participants for this edition of TangerRun.
