Loaned by LOSC to FC Rouen 1899, Ichem Ferrah is preparing to see his daily life turned upside down following the departure of his coach, Maxime d'Ornano.
The life of a young footballer is strewn with pitfalls. Loaned by LOSC, Ichem Ferrah discovers the third division of French football at FC Rouen 1899, where everything is not rosy on a collective level. Defeated (1-0) by Dijon this Friday as part of the 11th day of National, the club management decided to part ways with its coach: “FC Rouen 1899 regrets to announce the sidelining of its coach, Maxime d'Ornano. This decision, taken after careful consideration and in the interest of the club, responds to our ambition to obtain the best possible results for you supporters. […] The club is determined to do everything in place to redress the sporting situation and achieve our objectives”we can read in a press release published by the FCR.
Coach of FC Rouen 1899 since December 28, 2021, Maxime d'Ornano (43 years old) has not resisted the current bad patch. It must be said that the Rouennais have only recorded one success in eleven matches this season. It was a spectacular victory pocketed at Châteauroux (4-0) in mid-September. For the rest, the record is six draws, four defeats, and fifteenth place in the National with nine points on the clock.
On an individual level, Ichem Ferrah (19 years old) continued to have the confidence of his coach despite this series of poor results. An indisputable starter, he has appeared nine times (684 minutes logged) in Rouen colors since his arrival. However, he has never managed to be decisive until now. The attacking midfielder will have to redouble his efforts to convince the successor of Maxime d'Ornano, he who had specifically targeted him and placed all his trust in him.
