The qualifications planned in several regions of Morocco as part of the 10ᵉ edition of the BMW Golf Cup Morocco 2024, orchestrated by Smeia-BMW, were recently successfully closed in Marrakech.
The qualifying phase of the BMW Golf Cup for the South region, which took place on October 26, was a great success on the Fairmont Royal Palm course in Marrakech. Indeed, more than 77 participants, men and women, competed on a course marked by difficult weather conditions, with torrential rain and strong gusts of wind. Despite these challenges, the golfers gave it their all and showed remarkable lucidity and unfailing commitment.

It should be noted that Smeia-BMW, as part of this event, also organizes the only private tournament in Morocco dedicated to young golfers, an initiative launched since the first edition of the BMW Golf Cup in 2001 to encourage emerging talents. Precisely, this junior competition will take place this Saturday, November 2 at the Bahia Golf Club in Bouznika, with an organizational and refereeing system identical to that of the stages of the BMW Golf Cup for adults. Regardless, the 45 qualified golfers from different regions will compete with determination this Sunday, November 3, with each series offering the chance to win a ticket to the prestigious world final scheduled for Bangkok on March 2, 2025.
