The Montreal Canadiens had another disastrous Tuesday with an embarrassing 8-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken, and Jean-Charles Lajoie and Tony Marinaro had some scolding to do.
During Wednesday’s Coliseum segment at JiCthe host and columnist have emptied their bag to criticize most of the players on the team, from Christian Dvorak to Kirby Dach via Alex Newhook.

“Dach is not in good shape, he did not arrive in good shape,” said Jean-Charles Lajoie. “It’s a lack of respect for the organization and its sport. He has been 100% fit to train since April. He misses all his assignments and he doesn’t work very hard.”
“How can Dvorak play with the Canadian when [Alex] Barré-Boulet and Joshua Roy are in Laval? Guys from our area!” continued Tony Marinaro.
On fire, our two friends also wondered who the real leaders of the team are, those who could set the record straight or speak directly to Martin St-Louis.
“Would Corey Perry accept what is happening now? Would Shea Weber accept it? Neither does Eric Staal. […] Who in the locker room is going to stand up and look others in the eye and intimidate them a little? launched Jean-Charles Lajoie.
“The only two guys who won the Cup in that locker room were David Savard, who played on the third pair in Tampa, and Alex Newhook who played on the third line in Colorado. It takes winners, it takes presence,” added Tony Marinaro.
