During the Occitanie Nord grand finals, Cahors Gymnastics had 8 teams competing in different categories of women’s gymnastics competitions on May 25 and 26.

In Fédérale Occitanie two teams: In the 10/11 year old category, a team made up of Lya Descamp, Constance Millet, Rachelle Lasfargues, Azélie Marmiesse and Inès Yvars takes third place with 202,400 points.

A team in the 10 years and over category, made up of Christine Aleksanyan, Faustine Gévaudan, Anne Lavagnini, Maïlys Tereygeol and Noémie Vignals-Sahuc who also reached a third step on the podium with 199,400 points.

In Federal B 10 years and over a team came 15th with 103,700 points, in Federal B 10/13 years finished 17th with 108.00 points, in Federal B 14 years and over a team came 8th with 103,300 points, in Federal B 10/11 years three teams – eq . 1 finish 11th with 108,050 points, eq.2 16th with 105 points and eq.3 9th with 108,600 points.

These competitions followed the big Lotois meeting on May 19. There were 90 female gymnasts from Cahors gymnastics who took part in this “Oh my Lot” Challenge. The Gymnast club Gramatois welcomed the two other clubs from the department on its grounds.

49 gymnasts (6-9 years old) completed the “Access” program which allows gymnasts to validate different levels. In the Federal B proximity program on the different apparatus, 41 gymnasts aged 7 to 14 tested the skills acquired this season. The Cahors gymnastics gala will take place at the Palais des Sports in Cahors on Saturday June 22. The club will always be happy to welcome a few extra volunteers.
