During this meeting on the first day of the C1, won 2-1 by Monaco, Barcelona supporters displayed a “Flick Heil” sign, echoing the “Sieg Heil” of the Nazis, and in reference to the German coach of the Spanish club, Hansi Flick.

Barça “will respect and apply this sanction during the match on the fourth day of the UEFA Champions League against Red Star in Belgrade,” he reacted in a press release. The sentence is accompanied by a fine of around 9,400 francs.

“FC Barcelona rejects any form of apology for violence and, as stipulated in articles 3 and 4 of its statutes, ensures the protection and promotion of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights contained in the International Charter of human rights proclaimed by the United Nations,” he also recalls.

“The club will strengthen its current resources and take all additional measures necessary to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future, and to sanction those who are the perpetrators,” he concludes.
