“Lille is a team that manages to keep its back round. It's been twice that they are in great difficulty during the first half hour of play. In this match against Nice, there was a half for each team. Of course, they conceded a goal, but they managed to get going again at the start of the second half. Bruno Genesio must have corrected something technically or in his state of mind. We saw a more aggressive team, which defended while moving forward. The Lille people, like their captain, have an impeccable state of mind. They never give up and they always manage to surprise. Lionel Charbonnier: “They are not making progress”
“They never give up. Even when it seems like they're falling through, there's a player there to catch the team. Usually, it's Lucas Chevalier. In complicated moments, he makes the right saves and prevents his team from getting into trouble. He also has a grip on his defense. When they are in difficulty, they manage to let the storm pass before raising their heads to turn the match around. I find that they never stop progressing, even if they are not always impeccable. »
