The huge goal set by Pablo Longoria in the Champions League within three years

Olympique de intends to return to the Champions League as quickly as possible, as Pablo Longoria confides. The Marseille president even wants his OM to quickly position themselves among the elite of European football.

Pablo Longoria does not want to hear about transition or the Europa League. The Marseille president has not hidden his enormous ambition for Olympique de Marseille in the Champions League. Within three years, he wants to see his club compete in the LDC play-offs.

“At OM, you have to be in the Champions League every year. You have to get it into your head. In three years, we want to establish ourselves in the 24 best European clubs with the new LDC format. That will give an economy around all that, the resources to maintain itself at this level”, Longoria explained.

OM knows the procedure to follow to move towards this objective: finishing on the Ligue 1 podium this season. Once close to the throne of leader, Marseille has lost altitude over the last two days. Marseille was beaten by RC then conceded a draw against SCO (1-1). A rebound is expected upon returning from the break in before the reception of Saint-Germain at the Vélodrome.
