The Real Madrid midfielder commented on an Instagram post from his teammate Rodrygo.
He didn’t score, but Rodrygo Goes was also one of the main architects of Real Madrid’s victory in their Champions League opener against Stuttgart (3-1).
The Brazilian provided an assist for Kylian Mbappé’s opener and was very active in the competition he particularly likes. After the Germans equalised, Rüdiger and Endrick helped the Merengues to victory.
Rodrygo, whose new role at Madrid has been constantly discussed since Mbappe’s arrival, posted several photos on his Instagram account. One of them shows him celebrating a goal alongside the Frenchman, Vinicius and Jude Bellingham.
The comment accompanying the photos was: “Champions League at the Bernabéu, it’s always the same feeling as the first time….. Great night for our team!”
The most significant response came from Bellingham. “Only fools forget the R ????,” he wrote in English, referring to the anagram “BMV” (Bellingham-Mbappé-Vinicius) released by the Spanish media and which left out Rodrygo Goes.
