The circulation of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) reports the continued application of an anti-dumping duty to imports of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) originating in the United States, at the rate of 5.5% ad valorem, pending the outcome of the review investigation of the anti-dumping measure.
The same source refers to a joint decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade and the Minister of Economy and Finance, which provides for the definitive application of an anti-dumping duty on American PVC for a period of 5 years, at the rate of 24.88%.

The ADII services are thus invited to proceed with the final collection of the amount recorded for the provisional anti-dumping duty and the part of the VAT which is applicable to it, under the circular of February 1, 2024. However, specifies the same source, this additional duty does not apply to imports of polyvinyl chloride accompanied by an invoice certified by the Department of Industry.
